Submission Wrestling
Old school. No mercy. No gi.
Ages 18 and up
Rooted in Japanese catch wrestling and popularized through the Pancrase league in the 1980s and 90s, submission wrestling is a direct ancestor of modern MMA — and one of its most underutilized training disciplines. Like combat jiu jitsu, it combines limited striking with grappling, but the submission arsenal is broader and more punishing: expect joint cranks, twisting locks, and pressure point attacks with no apology.
Partner contact is constant and physical. This is not a gentle art.
If you’re serious about fighting, this is where gaps in your game get exposed.
